Hi everyone well another great day, woke to a bit of ground frost and a frozen Derwnet Lake but that didnt stop us. Some of us headed off to the mines today which was very scary Mason conquered his fear and we all went through, good job for the hard helmets as it was very low and very very very dark. In the afternoon we went canoeing on the Lake which was fun some of it was still frozen, we played games having to jump into different canoes when our instructor shouted our number out, Mrs Tait then treated us all to a hot chocolate in the coffee shop.

Sounds like yet another great day. Each day gets more exciting. Emilia your face looked a little worried with the canoe paddle (was this before?) but then big smiles after. I remember exploring the mine when I went to Alston many many moons ago - great fun but very very scarey. I think you're all really brave. Think the hot chocolate was well deserved, although bet Mrs Tait didnt think so when she ended up with the bill!!! Hope you're enjoying your last night at the disco. Cant wait to see you tomorrow Emilia - its been so quiet. Ellie is counting down the hours, she's missed you heaps. Love you very much sweetheart from Mam, Dad & Ellie xxxxx

Another great day. I only hope you all still want to come home tomorrow. We've missed Kate but I can't promise the same level of excitement when she gets home. We might have to install a DEATH swing from her bedroon window!
